Intuitive Interior Design Rooted in Your Story
There comes a moment in many women’s lives when something shifts.
A marriage has ended.
A career has changed.
A deep sense that who you are is evolving.
And a quiet inner voice begins asking deeper questions about what comes next.
Then suddenly the home that once fit your life… no longer fits who you are becoming.
I know that moment well.
It happened to me in 2018. The divorce was final, yet I was unmoored. 23 years of marriage was over and now I had to figure out what was next. Then disaster hit. At the end of 2019, a leak in my crawl space completely destroyed my house right at the beginning of COVID. The amount of symbolism of water in my crawl space, mold growing in my walls and attic and having to strip everything to the studs was not lost on me.
I had to rebuild my home to create safety, to ground myself again and make my space feel like my new life moving forward without the constant reminder of the past. Having gone through that process drove home again why I do the work I do. We need our sanctuary to recenter ourselves so we can go back out in the world to be and do what we were meant to.
For almost 3 decades, I have worked in interior design helping people create beautiful homes. But over time I began to notice something deeper: a home isn’t just a backdrop to our lives — it actively shapes how we feel, think, and move forward.
When a woman evolves, her environment needs to evolve with her.
Too often during major life transitions, women continue living in spaces that reflect the past: a previous relationship, an earlier version of themselves, or a life chapter that has already closed. And that misalignment can quietly hold them back from fully stepping into the next phase of their lives.
That realization and my own journey changed the direction of my work.
Today, I help women intentionally align their homes with the life they are creating next.
My approach blends traditional interior design with intuitive insight and life-alignment work. Together we look not just at furniture or color palettes, but at the deeper questions:
Who are you becoming now?
What kind of life are you building next?
How can your home actively support that transformation?
“Paula is Amazing (with a capital “A”)! She came out to my new office space, asked thoughtful, thought-provoking questions, and then offered a great deal of wonderful and brilliant guidance on how to furnish and functionally organize it.
She helped me see my space in a completely different way and suggested methods I could easily use to figure out exactly what I needed. Because I’m on a budget, this was SUPER helpful!
Paula also pointed out the features of the space and how to truly make the most of them. Using her recommendations, I feel so much more clear, confident, and prepared to move forward and get everything set up.
Preparing for a Grand Opening just became much easier, more focused, and far less overwhelming. All this in a short consultation! MUCH gratitude!”
The spaces we live and work in influence our confidence, clarity, creativity, and sense of possibility every single day.
This work is especially meaningful to me because many of the women I serve are standing at powerful crossroads in midlife — rebuilding after divorce, launching businesses, redefining their purpose, or simply reclaiming themselves after years of caring for others.
They are not starting over.
They are starting wiser.
And their homes should reflect that.
Through my Designing Your Next Chapter™ process, I help women transform their homes into environments that support who they are now — and who they are becoming.
Spaces that restore energy.
Spaces that spark new ideas.
Spaces that feel like a true sanctuary and a launching pad for what’s next.
Because when your environment is aligned with your identity and your vision for the future, something powerful happens:
You begin to move forward with greater confidence, clarity, and momentum.
Your home becomes more than a place you live.
It becomes a partner in the life you’re creating.
If you're in a moment of transition and feel that your home no longer reflects the woman you are becoming, I would be honored to help you reimagine what’s possible.
